In this self-paced plumbing course, you will learn how to work on modern plumbing systems from in-depth course material developed by industry experts and employers. After completing this plumbing training program, you will possess the specialized skills and technical knowledge needed to start a career in plumbing.  We offer three courses to progress you from start to finish.  Plumbing Basics, Plumbing Intermediate, and Plumbing Advanced.  

PLMB 202 - Understanding the Tools/Equipment of the Trade (2 Weeks)

Plumbing tools are the tools and equipment that plumbers use to install and repair piping and water systems. You can benefit from learning the uses and benefits of these tools. Using plumbing equipment can help you carefully handle tasks and avoid possible damage.  

PLMB 203 - Plumbing Theory II (3 Weeks)

This course is designed to provide the student with instruction in plumbing practices applicable to all areas of plumbing. Emphasis will be placed on presenting on the core concepts in the plumbing industry.

PLMB 204 - Plumbing Nomenclature II (3 Weeks)

Plumbing nomenclature is the terminology used to describe plumbing systems and their components:  Fittings: Devices that control and guide water flow, such as faucets, shower heads, and drinking fountain spouts, Valves: Fittings with a movable part that control water flow, Stops: Valves that isolate parts of the plumbing system for repairs or maintenance and Other components: Such as anode rods, diaphragms, pressure reducing valves, and more.

PLMB 205 - Blueprint Reading II (3 Weeks)

In this class you will learn how to read blueprints for residential construction and commercial construction projects.

PLMB 206 - Plumbing Safety II (2 Weeks)

Plumbers work in a variety of settings, some of which may contain hazards. This course will explain the main occupational hazards for plumbers and how to be aware of them.
